Somehow, we've become the secretaries of our own work — copying data between tools, formatting documents, organizing files, and synthesizing information manually.
What We're Building
We're building long-running AI agents that work like permanent team members — not chatbots you have to retrain every conversation.
Stash Desktop is our initial product: a desktop app that gives non-technical users access to the most powerful AI agents available today.
It has persistent memory that remembers every conversation and document. Native tool integration via MCP that connects directly to Google Drive, email, and calendars. And autonomous execution that works in the background on multi-step tasks.

We're building a new way of working where AI handles the processes around your files — the tedious, mechanical tasks that drain your energy. This frees you to focus on the creative, meaningful work that actually matters.
Products should keep you in flow
The best AI doesn't require constant hand-holding. It should handle everything that pulls you out of deep work — the formatting, the organizing, the synthesizing.
Memory is the backbone
Persistent memory that learns and improves over time is the key. AI should know who you are, understand your preferences, and continuously update its skills. This is what enables truly long-running agents.
The Team
Sam Liu
Co-founder
Sam is the co-founder of Stash by Fergana Labs. Previously, he was pursuing a PhD at Stanford in decision making and AI. He began his career traveling the world through BCG's London office (in places ranging from the Maldives to Kazakhstan). While he spent most of his time in college arguing studying Philosophy, he holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Physics from Harvard. When he's not locked-in, you might find him on the tennis court, exploring nature, or writing.

Henry Dowling
Co-founder
Henry Dowling is the co-founder of Stash by Fergana Labs. He was previously a member at South Park Commons, an early employee at Bubble.io, where he worked on Bubble's core workflow logic and led product on the team that built Bubble's AI app builder. He studied Applied Math/CS at Harvard. He's huge nerd and once made a guitar pedal that implements a fuzz effect via analog synthesis.
